When you telephone the practice for an appointment the reception team may offer you an appointment at the GP Access Hub (GPAH), which is an additional service launched by local GP practices in the Arun, Worthing and Adur districts. This service aims to give extended access to GP appointments for all patients, with more information available from the GP Access Hub website.
At the GP Hub you will be seen by a GP, nurse, or paramedic practitioner, who - with your consent - will have access to your medical record from this practice. This will not be one of the regular clinical team from Bognor Medical Practice that you are used to seeing.
The GPAH clinics are available some weekdays from 4.00pm to 8.00pm, and may be available on some weekends and/or bank holidays. This service is for urgent appointments which deal with one-off health issues or problems (not for long term condition support and management) that have occurred within the last 14 days. Currently the GPAH service is accessible from Bognor War Memorial Hospital in the MIU and Avisford Medical Group, and our receptionists will direct you there for the appointment.
GPAH services can only be booked by our reception team, not by contacting Avisford or BWMH directly.
