THE PATIENT PARTICIPATION GROUPThe practice is hoping to establish a Patient Participation Group in the near future. This group will need a chairman, a treasurer and a secretary and will need to be self-funded. Patient participation groups are well established in many of the local surgeries and provide a forum for patients to become more involved in the practice by promoting health awareness, self-help groups and, if applicable, raising funds for equipment for the benefit of all patients. If you are interested in helping to form this group please contact the Practice Manager on 826541. What Is A Patient Participation Group? The Bognor Medical Practice Patient Participation Group will be a group open to anyone registered with the practice. It will be run by patients for patients on a voluntary basis to increase health awareness, to provide a channel of communication between doctors and patients, and to raise funds in order to provide extra equipment for the practice's patients. |
